First days in Sweden.

Hey Guys.

Finally, today the first snow started falling and they are estimating that about 30-40 cm will come during the night. Exiting!

The first week here in Sweden have been pretty hectic. We arrived on Thursday night, Friday we went to a nearby city to have a look at cars, as we have to buy one. David and my Dad went looking on saturday as well, and finally we found one. A Volvo V70 of cause! Arranging with insurance, signing us in to the country again and a lot of paperwork had to be done. Piuh. Now I think everything is sorted out, what I now of anyway.

David had his first day at work today!

It is lovely to be home, meet lots of beautiful friends and our families! However, i must say that i really miss a lot of our friends Down Under and I think Elsa does as well!

Here are a few pictures of our cheeky little girl and from the last few days here in Sweden:

Our last weeks in Sydney...

It is time for me to try something different with this blog, write in English so all my Aussie friends can keep up with what we are doing here in Sweden.

We are now back in a dark, but yet not so cold Sweden. It's been some great days since we arrived, hanging out with family, bought a new car and just try to cope with the jetlag :)

Elsa were great on both of the flights from Sydney to Bangkok and then Bangkok to Stockholm. Happy almost all the time and slept very well on the plane. We were staying at a very nice hotel for our three days in Bangkok, Dunsit Thani. David were working for one day, meanwhile Elsa and I went for some shopping. The remaining two days, we went for some more shopping! By the time we left Thailand, we had managed to optimised our luggage and i think we only had 2 kg left on all of our luggage..

My parents came to pick us up at the airport in Stockholm, my sis and her hubby and kids were also there to welcome us.

Elsa have struggled a little bit with the jetlag, and have had trouble falling back to sleep at around 04. As both David and I have been awake at that time, we went for a early morning walk and manage to put her back to sleep after just 15 min of walking. Last night were better though, hope it gets better and better from now on.

One week before we left Sydney, we had a little bbq with some friends. Despite the uneven weather, we had a great time. Then the last days...we stayed at Jennfer and Ian's house. Lovely.

We had some lovely last days there, with champagne at The Opera Bar, dinner at Watsons Bay.

I will always love and miss Sydney, but some part (or most parts) of me really belongs to Sweden.
