Down Under - for a while: januari 2014

Long time no seen!

Wow, sorry guys, been without internet sort of since we came back home! Elsa and I is at my parents house this weekend, so I thought that I should write something here!

Whats happening?!

David is working a lot, both at the actual job and at home with renovations. We are soon done with all the rooms on the 2nd floor. New wallpapers in three of the rooms, new floors in all, new doors, painted window-frames and inner roof. We are now thinking of what to do next, if we should dig in to the first floor straight away or wait a bit. It is really easy now when we don't have any furnitures and we want as much as possible done when they arrive.

When it comes to that. They should have arrived in Sweden today. But they are still on the boat, what i know of. So i guess we have to live in our spartan home for another few weeks :)

I've been talking to my old manager at the hospital and hopefully i will soon start to work every 2nd weekend for a while. Just to get started with nursing again. Then i have to choose where to work when summer comes...and i haven't decided that yet. But Im excited.

Otherwise, were having a great time here in Sweden. Weather is great, snow and between -5 to -18. Lovely to be so close to my lovely family and "old" friends. However, i definitely miss my friends back in Sydney, a lot.

We haven't been out on too many missions yet, but that to come when our life from Sydney arrives and we can start to live a life outside house renovations.

Elsa is now 1 year, 4 months and 3 weeks. Is 81 cm tall and weigh 9.7kg She is teething again, as always, so now she have 15 teethes. Talking ALOT! She imitate everything we say, everything! I love it! She still now some english words, which is good. Our plan was to talk english at least one day per week, but so far that haven't been to successful. Perhaps when our everyday is sorted out, we will do better! She likes the snow, until she do face plants in it. She really hates that! Loves sleeping outside during the days, sleeps for hours and hours. She love to play peekabo!

Elsa and her mates in Sundsvall. Love that the fact that we were four girls that hooked up at uni, and all four of us sort of had kids at the same time....a few years differ.
